I am glad to announce that I have completed my aprons of the week. They are 100% cotton, cute and flirty. The layers of flounces will have you dancing around the kitchen.

NonCynts=The Stash

When I look in the closets I see fabric that I purchased for a good reasons. Some of the reasons I still remember. Some of the purchases were for kids that are now grown. So now I have decided to take photos as a challenge to myself to see what fabrics will develope into a finished project and to give myself some guilt about my addiction to this fabric stashing. Through this blog page you will be able to enjoy or sympathize with me,since I know that many of you are in search of a program that would stop you from doing the same thing.
The dark fabric was purchased to make tops.

The brighter fabrics were purchased to make aprons.

Holiday Memories

It seems that the holiday music is playing in the malls a few weeks earlier
than what I remember. So I am now justified to play my own holiday music, which includes one of the first albums that I ever owned, "The Jackson 5 Christmas album". The wonderful memories of Mom cooking (all day) while we played in front of the tv showing the yule log as if it were a fire place was most exciting. Today as I put together holiday aprons, the time went quickly as I laughed to myself that my Uncle Jim must be the real Santa, since we could hear him putting the big wheels together all night.

Cents-able Savings

The time has come for me to seriously get in the yard and get my seeds. The weather has been rainy or unseasonably wonderful and my flowers are so confused. My Easter Lily that I got from my Mom's church has come up and the birds and bees are still having lots of fun in the yard. This is my seasons favorite picture. Better Homes & Gardens has been a great teacher for me. Visit www.BHG.com/seedsaving
